PTO Extends Comment Period, Denies Request for Public Hearing

The USPTO today announced, in a notice published in the March 27, 2006 Federal Register, that it will extend the comment period until May 4, 2006.   

The Notice further states "that written comments are preferred over oral comments" and as a result, no public hearing will be held.
